The Whole Musical World Exists Where?
We all need to remain very conscious as artists of where our career, our particular art, its evolution, where it was and where it’s going, exists.
This place is called inside your head.
If you die or get snuffed today, it will go away?
Really, if you’re a blogger like me, if you’re a releaser like me, if you’re a sharer like me, and if you do videos like me, I do a lot of stuff. Not many people see it, but some people do. But because of social media, all of my friends seem to know what I’m up to. I have a lot out there.
But most of my musical world exists only inside my head.
The hopes, the fears, the ups, the downs, all that exists inside my head.
All my friends? They think I’m super successful. Some people I play with think I’m a natural musician. Couldn’t be further from the truth. Lots of people think I’m very productive. I think I’m unproductive.
What does this all say?
I don’t really know, but the whole musical world, my whole musical world, only exists inside my head and consciousness.
Or consciousness is outside of your head, do does it exist outside?
Am I on a journey that’s predetermined, and I’m just following along?
It’s hard to say.
Is it worth thinking about?
While I’m working, I’m considering what kind of dub techno setup I’m gonna make tonight. Is that good or bad? Or is it just that? It just is.
What is all this stuff about?
These are great questions for a Monday.
While they need to be thought about, it really feels like they don’t need to be thought about.
