The Copyright Strike
So as I said yesterday, I was super excited about the new direction for the production tracks and the new system. Did one on Note this morning. Edited and mixed and mastered this evening, posted it, and I got a copyright strike on SoundCloud.
That has never happened. I've never had an issue with SoundCloud. Yes, the app's buggy. Yes, all the messages are only from scammers now, but I've never had a copyright strike.
I listened to the aggrieved song, and it's nothing even close to like mine, which is, I guess, the real worrisome part. If something's being triggered, and it's not a sound, because, of course, they're not listening. They're just comparing whatever they compare, and I don't know what that is. Ones and zeros of some kind.
I think I'm well into the 500s on songs and whatever little bits that I've posted. (Most of them songs, though. Thank you very much.) And I've never had this happen.
So I disputed it, and we'll see. DO NOT want to find a new service for showing tracks.
