Safety First?

I did change the chord set on my set for Thursday and tweaked and improved, and right now I’m playing Push 3 in controller mode with my computer.

This is like the safest home base possible because I can see what’s going on, have an overview, and maybe for the first set out of the gate I should do it this way.

I don’t have any weird feelings about having a computer up there on stage. I’m perfectly fine with that. I nobody is not using one in music at this point, so I think at the end of the day I’ll feel better and at ease.

And for the first one out of the gate with this new setup safe counts.

Will the show be improved by having the Minitaur instead of the Slippery Slope device? Probably a little bit, but it almost doesn’t matter. The key is just getting it right, and again having that visual overview, which I know I have on the Push 3, but just the visuality of the computer is kind of double good I guess.

And again I’m not worried about the look, so I can bring the flat table and be just fine, or cram both of them onto the under the analog case.

So, dialed in. We’ll see if safety first wins the day.
