Return to Form
I worked my ass off to make synthwave a year and half a go. I was there, so the thought was it would feel correct. And while the idea was cool, it all felt corny and cartoonish to me. But this stuff was popular. And I want to be popular!!
After a bunch of research (YouTube), I figured out what was going on for the most part. And when I got down to it, al of it went a bit wrong but it turned out great. In fact it was effortless and really worked.
Made an album. Thought instrumental music was not real. Had bad output for a little over a year. Returned to what I know out of curiosity and maybe some boredom and maybe really desperation. It worked and I'm back on track with a shit load of practice and gig experience under my belt. Feels even better. Why did I go thru all of this? Ridiculous.
It's okay if it's easy.
