A 254th Post In A Row Celebration
So I blew right past celebrating (realizing) 250 days in a row here in the blog. Technically, today is day 254.
I would just like to thank everyone for reading. I don’t know if people come back to this, or they find it, or whatever, but I’m over 100 reads a week, which is pretty exceptional.
I think I’m honing in more on what I want to say, and I’m saying it more succinctly. And it’s generally coming out the way I want it to come out.
I’m glad the blog is here, but I almost never go back and read it, because I would probably want to throw up, then die.
I have noticed that my thinking is clearer when I go thru all my musical issues. I’ve got a sound philosophy in the way I think, and I’ve really honed in on gear that works for me.
There are obviously no gear reviews, but I do talk about using stuff day in and day out, whether I’m playing acoustic, playing bass, DJing, or playing synths.
I had more gear when I was just doing one thing: playing bass. So that should tell you something. And what that something is, I have no idea. But maybe it’ll come out in a few days.
I guess what I’m saying is that this Blog is helping me focus and think through musical problems. I always say music is problem solving, and as I’m growing older, maybe this will keep my brain active and stop it from turning to jelly.
I don’t know.
But I appreciate the reads. I appreciate anyone giving a shit about what I have to say. And obviously, I think almost everything I say is pretty important.
So please, continue to pay attention.
